Custom Canine Couture from Malvena Pearl

This is an official announcement that I’ll be taking commissions for canine clothing — in the hard to fit Extra Small, Small, Medium, Large and Extra Large sizes. Thank you to the local pet supply shop which has provided me with opportunities to talk to customers about their needs for their dogs.

Our friend Nissa Nicole adopted an adorable, small Hairless American Terrier named Hank.  Hank is very cold here in Northern California, what with all the rain and wind.  I told Nissa that I’d make some clothes for him that are befitting a canine of his gender, needs and stature. I’m starting out with a masculine-patterned jacket for him using John Deere tractor logo fabric. It will be easy to wash and look fetching. Another friend of the Emporium has adopted a Xolo — Xoloitzcuintli (SHOW-low-eats-QUEENT-lee.)  We’re making a jacket for this hairless dog, as well.

Note: if your dog has long hair, you probably don’t need these garments. But for hairless and short-haired species who were bred for very warm climates, they may need something to snuggle in, don’ t you agree?

We have an order for five of each size of our jackets from VdorA, a boutique for people and pets in Murphys, CA. I am developing several lines: rain jackets and coats for warmth. We have a special request for small dog coats with texture.

Please do e-mail us with your requests.

Your Canine Couturier,

Suzette
